Sandy is a passionate volunteer in our sewer team who always shares the updated information and news with us. We're very grateful to have her in our team.
“My name is Sandy. I am a mum, a teacher and a volunteer with Hong Kong Masks Australia. As a cancer patient, I work from home during the pandemic. I cannot do anything else as I need to self-isolate to avoid being infected. The initial decision of volunteering was made because I could do it at home. The most rewarding part for me is the relationships I have forged with other volunteers and the feedback from clients. I feel very lucky to be a part of an amazing team of volunteers. I found a purpose. Volunteering does not only help the clients but it also helps me. I feel great about myself while giving a hand to someone. Being able to share my passion of sewing is an absolute joy.

Sandy, Brisbane”
